you can feel it.
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. 
IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS
...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL... AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. 
PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG 
BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

can i even visualise the glass in my office shatter from destructive hail? i'm tempted to go over and stick my nose against the window against all warnings.

Yeah, sounds about right. We had a tornado warning in Boulder when I was in grad school. Did we go to the basement shelter? No, we looking for the approaching tornado from the wraparound windows on the 11th floor.

Well at least you're inside. We had a large tree branch crash to the ground in our backyard & another is hanging up there. We'll have to have it removed ... our heads dent easily. I always listen to the warning to get inside undercover anyway. We even had 1 inch hail up here on the Northshore yesterday. My DH saved 2 in the freezer for me to see, LOL. Just don't stand IN the window!
